Alexander specializes mainly in corporate and commercial. He graduated from Sofia University, Faculty of Law in 1990. Specialised European company and commercial law in the University of Limerick, Ireland. He is also an arbitrator, in the court of Arbitration with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 1994 and arbitrator and conciliator pursuant to the Washington Convention on the Settlement of International disputes between States and nationals of Other States appointed by the Government of Republic of Bulgaria since 2002. He was involved in the research made on the Transformation of Commercial Companies in Max Plank Institute for Comparative and International Private Law - Hamburg, Germany, 2001-2002. In 2002 he is an expert in World Bank financed project on Corporate Governance Legislation improvement. In Sofia Bar he is barrister since 1996. Since 2001 he is a member of Georgiev, Todorov & Co.
During his career in Georgiev, Todorov & Co. he was legal adviser on major corporate and commercial deals, like for OTE-KPN during the negotiations for BTC AD sale, for Maspex Ltd, a Polish company, on the acquisition of Litex Juice ltd, Litex Commerce Ltd, Litex Shop, and the production and distribution of juices under the trade mark “Queens” and many others.
